The Name

Why Liminality

Liminality is the threshold — the doorway between what was and what will be. Anthropologists use the word for the middle stage of a rite of passage: the disorienting, unstructured, deeply alive interval when the old identity has been set down and the new one has not yet been picked up.

Our culture treats that interval as a problem to be solved quickly. This practice treats it as the place where everything real happens.

In the space between, we honor. We heal. We become.

What Guides the Work

Brand Values

Honoring the In-Between

The threshold is not a delay before real life. It is real life, and it deserves to be witnessed rather than rushed.

Trauma-Informed Care

Safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment are not add-ons. They are the architecture of every session.

Somatic Awareness

The body keeps its own record and speaks its own language. Learning to listen changes what is possible.

Compassion & Safety

Nothing meaningful happens in a body that is bracing. Kindness is not softness — it is the precondition.

Growth Through Transition

Change is not the interruption of the story. It is where the story turns.

Integration & Wholeness

The work is not complete on the mat. It completes itself in how you live once you step off it.

Let's See If This Is a Fit

The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It is simply a chance to be heard and to ask questions.
